Dr. John "Chuck" Chalberg does historical impersonations of American and British characters. He does a portrayal of Branch Rickey, a man who may no longer be a household name but who changed the face of America. He will expound on any number of baseball and non-baseball topics, most importantly, his decision to sign Jackie Robinson to a Brooklyn Dodger contract. His historic meeting with Mr. Robinson is now a part of American folklore, but it is only one part of the Branch Rickey story.

The ptBB (Palace Theatre Big Band) came to life as The All Americans in 1968 and has performed for dances, alumni fetes, concerts in the park and even as the warm up for Bob Newhart. George Schram and Vern Heimlich are co-leaders of the group having taken over in the '90's. Heimlich is the lead trumpet player and owner of the Heimlich Garage in Waldo, while Schram is the lead trombonist and music teacher and musical pit director in Marion for the past 45 years. A flavorful group, the ptBB consists of 11 gifted musicians with multiple decades of experience among them.
